I have two monitors set up and both show the Dock.

If you use more than one monitor you can set apps to open in the different monitors.

If you had two monitors, you could have Safari open in Display 1 and Mail to open in Display 2.

Open Safari, Control-click on the Safari icon, select Options and select Assign To Desktop on Display 1.

Do the same for Mail. You can have more than one app Assigned to Display 1 and Display 2.

Each Display can have multiple Desktops/ Spaces. So you could have Safari open on Desktop 1 on Display 1 and

Calendar set to open on Desktop 2 on Display 1, and so it goes on. Use the Mission Control app to create more Desktops/ Spaces for each Display you use.

Use System Preferences> Mission Control to set up the behaviour of your Desktops/ Spaces.

Use System Preferences> Keyboard> Shortcuts to set up custom keyboard combinations to switch between different Desktops/Spaces.

If you want to set up individual setting for monitors then you would need to drag the System Preferences panel to each monitor and set preferences up that way.

Thanks, i enabled it and still don't have dock on every display. For real i don't see any difference :(

I need to see what app is open on every display. Sometimes i have multiple different app windows opened on every screen and i want to see what is opened where. Without any additional hotkeys or magic functions.

About this setting, help site says: "If you use Spaces and have multiple displays, you can set up separate spaces for each display. This option must be selected if you want to use apps in Split View on your other displays." I don't get it, what is separate space?

If you use Displays have separate Spaces (System Preferences -> Mission Control)

If you have the Dock position as the "Bottom"

Then if you drag you mouse to the bottom of a display, and pull down, the Dock will appear on that monitor, and disappear from the other monitor.

Move to the other monitor, drag you mouse to the bottom of the display, and pull down, the Dock will return to that monitor.

I do not know what happens when all the monitors are 1 Space, as I would have to logout and login again to experiment, and I've got too much real work up on my system to do that right now.

Why i cannot show dock on multiple monitors?
