Remove previous Apple ID account

I have received a used iPhone but there is an account on with Apple ID but I don’t know the password. How can I remove that?

iPad, iOS 9

you will need to contact the previous owner to have them log out of iCloud or go to https://www.icloud.com/find/ My Phone and erase the device, then remove it from their account. If you can’t do that, the device is useless.

Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support.

Yes, I found it already. But thanks anyway.

it’s a phone from work so my boss need to contact the previous owner, previous employee, and hopefully it will work.
