Moving a text Box

When I use pages I need to label objects like triangle and rectangles with points like A,B, C,D. The only way I can seem to do this is by creating a small borderless text box with each different letter inside. But when I move it close to the shape I have created in order to label it, it disappears. I have tried all text wraps. This is really frustrating.

Have you set the text wrap of the shape to 'none'?

A, B and C are in separate text boxes, and aso have textwrap set to 'none. If you want text to wrap around this image (shape plus the three labels), select all four objects, Group them (Arrange menu) into a single object, then set wrap to one of the choices in the pop-up menu in th Inspector.
