Hi Jaf0964,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! I understand you are experiencing an issue loading ESPN via Safari on your Mac. I'd like to help out.

You mention ESPN won't load in Safari. What exactly happens when you attempt to access this website? Is it blank, not loading images, etc.? Please confirm the behavior you are experiencing, and then take a look over this support page to select the most relevant topic. Once you select a topic, you will be presented with troubleshooting steps to try out: Safari troubleshooting on Mac - Apple Support.

If the issue is only occurring with one specific website (ESPN), please try accessing this website from a different web browser. This can help isolate if the issue is with the website itself. If it happens in Safari only, please try clearing out Safari to test again: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support, and Manage cookies and website data in Safari on Mac - Apple Support. If you clear out your website data, know this will log you out of websites, so just make sure you know your log in credentials for when you re-visit a page.

Keep me posted on how this goes. Regards.

Are you running any anti - virus programs? Using a VPN?

Try setting up another admin user account in System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

Isolating an issue by using another user account

Safe Mode - About.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. After pasting the report in a PasteBin page, go to the top of the page, and copy the address in the URL bar. Paste that in a new reply.        Pastebin.
