I restarted my phone today and now I get an error on start up that says “Face ID unavailable on this iPhone “. I have ensured nothing is blocking my notch area. I have force restarted my phone and nothing seems to work. When I go into Face ID it says the same error when trying to start configuration. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did update to iOS 13.4 yesterday, would that be the problem?

I was told the same but have to wait till Apple Stores re-open as the U.K. is currently on lock down.
No I have not. I spent 45 minutes on with an Apple rep yesterday and she ended up making me a service appointment. We did everything on the thread Apple has to try and fix it to no avail. Going tomorrow to have them look at it but from what I am told, the phone may need replacement.
Have you been able to fix this. I have the same issue soon after updating to iOS 13.4. I have tried resetting as well but they didn’t fix it
