Apple care purchase complete payment set up email

I just purchased an apple watch a few days ago and purchased the apple care with it. Today I got an email from apple telling me I purchased an apple Care+ for my watch and to keep this coverage up to date I have to finish my payment setup by linking this purchase to my apple ID. Then there is a link to click on.


Shouldnt that already be set up when I purchased it?

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you need to finish setting up AppleCare for your device. I would recommend you use this article for more information.


"Manage or cancel an AppleCare plan that's paid monthly

If you pay for your AppleCare plan on a monthly basis, you can manage or cancel the plan from your iOS device, Mac, or PC. Learn how to cancel your subscription.

If you don't see your plan, finish setting up your account online, then you'll be able to manage your plan and how you pay for it.

If your AppleCare plan still isn't listed with your other services, or if you need more help, contact Apple Support."
