Recover GarageBand

How can I recover GarageBand on a used iMac I purchased last year? I’m running OS X 10.11.6 any help would be appreciated.

The current version of GarageBand 10.3.4 at the AppStore requires macOS10.13.6 or later.

You will not be able to install it on your system, unless GarageBand is in your Purchases history at the AppStore. Did you previously purchase GarageBand on another Mac? The look atyour Purchases on the Purchases tab at the AppStore while signed in with your APpleID. If you are seeing Garageband among your Purchases, click "Install".
