Locate copy item.

I was on a photo and wanted to save it. When I pressed and held a share of copy option appeared. I chose copy but it does not show up in photos or files. Where did it go?

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 13

When you use "Copy" then it will need to be followed with "Paste" action. When you just execute the "Copy" command then the information is held in iPhone's RAM (ClipBoard) until you execute the "Paste" command and then the information is saved to the location of either a designated space or a location of your choice. Furthermore, the information remains in the ClipBoard temporarily until some other information takes it place. In short, the image that you copied is no longer stored in the iPhone's memory/ClipBoard.
