Multiple accounts I own that have two factor authentication

So as the title suggest I have multiple iTunes accounts & would like to reduce that number...I no longer have access to the phone numbers associated with the two-factor authen. setup but can answer the security questions. I have been trying to get back into these accounts for days now & seems like I’m getting no assistance.

what I mean by I want to reduce that is I have games & such under previous iTunes accounts that I can no longer login to. I need to have access to my other Game Center which is locked behind my ID. I also have an ongoing subscription on one of the accounts & cant renew or cancel it because that’s locked behind my old Apple ID as well.

please help!

best regards,

Landon Zweigle

Thank you. Well done.

First, I don't think you'll be able to turn off two-factor authentication. I think you probably have been using it for too long.

See Two-factor authentication for Apple ID https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204915 and more specifically the section entitled Can I turn off two-factor authentication after I’ve turned it on? You can't turn it off unless you recently updated your account. In this case, you can unenroll within two weeks of enrollment.

But if you qualify, "just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings. Keep in mind, this makes your account less secure and means that you can't use features that require higher security."

Second, see my original post to see how reduce the number of Apple ID accounts you have. Are you able to sign in as indicated on each account?

See How to deactivate your Apple ID account  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208503

If you request account deactivation, you'll receive a unique alphanumeric access code. When you're ready to reactivate your Apple ID, contact Apple Support, provide your access code, and we’ll help you reactivate your account. If you lose this code, we won't be able to help reactivate your account."

How to Delete your Apple ID Account https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208504

“While your request is being processed, you can contact Apple Support with the unique alphanumeric access code you received, and we’ll help you cancel your request. After your account is deleted, Apple can't cancel the request, reopen your account, or restore your data.”

Apple recommend the deactivation method.

So I have these accounts:

landon.zweigle@gmail

landozweigle@gmail

landohoy8@gmail

friscohomework@gmail

all of these have a two-factor on them. I have access to each email but I no longer have the phone numbers associated with these apple ID’s.

what I’m trying to do is take off the two factor so I can also change all the passwords to a new updated password I’ve come up with. Also to update the phone number for the two factor or simple delete the account with the resource provided.

I need to be logged into a certain Apple ID for my game center because I’ve been logged out of all of them now..also to renew my subscription or to cancel it to put on the same Game Center account.

BASICALLY I just want to have only 1 iTunes account & not these 5-6 accounts..I can’t keep up with it all.

Ok this may seem redundant but last question: if I can’t recall a phone number because let’s say hypothetically I used an app phone number for one as a two factor & definatly don’t remember or have access to that, what would happen then? Hypothetically would I be screwed? Since I can’t even use the Iforgot page because it’s locked behind the phone number.

It would seem as if Landon.zweigle@gmail gets reset (which when I check says should be within a day) & I’m able to login to it to find out if it is the correct game center account then yea that account is null & void! This account here has my monthly subscription on it so I’m glad I found it so I can either renew or cancel to delete this account then put the subscription on a proper account which should hopefully just be one soon enough!
