Split Disk after updating to Catalina and then returning to Mojave

I updated to Catalina and after problems I returned back to Mojave. However, now I have two partitions instead of one, and I cannot get the drive to format back to a single partition, even when booting from my clone disk with Mojave. Can anyone help me?

changing CoreStorage Logical Volume Hi! So I have recently upgraded my 2012 MacBook pro to Catalina. In order to do that I had to create a new partition on my disk (APFS (Encrypted)), I've split it into 180 GB + 70 GB and installed Catalina on the 70GB one and made it my startup disk. Now, after the installation, I want to remove the partition and be able to use the entire disk, but I can't! I have already put all my files on a pen drive, to be able to erase the whole disk, but it still gives me errors. The problem is that the 180GB is still considered a primary partition and a 'CoreStorage Logical Volume', which makes it impossible to unite the two partitions. Can it be done?

How to Merge Partitions / Volumes I used a Mojave OS for about three months, then I decided to update to the Catalina OS. At the point of installation, I experienced a few challenges which made me partition the PC. Now I have installed the new OS, and at the same time deleted the old (Mojave) OS. But my PC is showing me that I have a total hard disk space of 60GB, instead of 128GB. How can I merge the partitions together to have one disk size of 128GB?

It’s not a partition.

You should be able to remove the - Data Volume from the container in disk utility.

Confirm you already reinstalled Mojave and migrated your data?
