Can you play mac games on the ipad with the keyboard such as sims 4 mac version etc, and if so does it run well?

Mac software, games or otherwise, cannot be installed on iPad. A specific iPad-compatible version, if available, must be downloaded from the Apple App Store.
Some software titles are now being released as “universal” Apps - such that Developers can now offer a software title for multiple platforms for a single-purchase. The downloadable software is still offered as separate items, but a separate purchases for,each version are now not necessarily required.
