Programm custom formulas in Numbers

Hi, I need to have the text of a cell scrambled. I've seen that I can write a precise custom formula in Excel to get the text from an entry and scramble the different letters in it. Is it possible to create custom personalised formulas in Numbers in order to do the same task?

Formulas, yes, but with the restriction that Numbers has limited support for 'Array formulas compared to Excel.

Functions, no.
