My iPhone X is stuck to white apple logo with a black screen!

My iPhone storage was full. I restarted the phone and waited it to open again. But unfortunately, the phone didn't open again, and the only thing I can see now is a white apple logo with a black background.

I followed the steps you gave to someone having the same problem, but it didn't work.

I tried that 4 times and it wasn't helpful. I tried the update option then the restore option, but both didn't work. If you have another solution, help me please.

Thanks in advance.

Good afternoon eyad998,

I understand you are having an issue with your iPhone X running out of storage and not being able to update or restore. The resource below provides the troubleshooting for this (some of which you have already tried). The next step would be to restore the iPhone to factory settings, which will erase your device.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen

"Contact Apple Support to set up service if you have any of these issues:

  • You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, or following the steps in this article.
  • Your device is stuck on the Apple logo, displays a solid color, or isn't recognized in iTunes."

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings

Since your iPhone was out of space, I would suggest not restoring from a backup. Set up the device as new. If you had iCloud features like contacts, calendars, photos, etc. enabled, turn those features on to sync that data to your device.

If you had iCloud Photos enabled, select the option to "optimize" which will free up space on your device by keeping the original, high resolution photos in iCloud instead of on your iPhone.

Set up and use iCloud Photos

Change your iCloud feature settings

Take care.
