Are the red hyperlinks in an article in the News.app supposed to take one to the site indicated by the red hyperlink? These hyperlinks are dead in New.app on my iMac running Catalina. Should I reinstall Catalina in order to get the News.app to function correctly?

I have discovered how to open hyperlinks in News.app. Click on the link while pressing the Control key. You can either open the link or copy the link. This makes the News.app much more valuable.

FWIW, for me, some red links open another article in News, some open a tab in a browser, some don't point to anything.
Just to add, the links that don't seem to point to anything may point to New+ articles. I don't have a News+ subscription so I can't say for certain.
Good find. I actually had to hunt for some that didn't open but the control key worked.
