Oh, I'm sorry. I saw 3nd gen and didn't see you meant iPad Pro. I use a powered hub to run an SSD drive from my iPad Pro. You may need to check with the manufacturer of your SSD drive to see what it may need to work with iPad Pro.

Thanks, but my question was specific to the new 2nd generation iPad Pro, which I have not purchased yet, that has a USB-C port and uses iOS13.x. Unfortunately the system forces me to identify a device I already own, the iPad mini which is not the subject of the question, in order to post a question. Sorry for the confusion.
MAC error failed to install the software.
Our mac doesn't seem to be able to install some software for hotel management. This really interferes with our vieecn students.
Let me ask what are the common mistakes at MAC

As well, you are asking an off topic question here about a computer - since this thread is about an iPad, it would be best for you to post your question in the Mac forum where it can get better attention. Please include all pertinent information such as device model, year, exact OS version and exactly what app you are wanting to install. And, is the app compatible with your OS version?
Not possible, with such an old iPad running such an out of date iOS version. Sorry. You can still backup the iPad to your home computer with iTunes or to iCloud.
If you are willing/able to do this with a Mac as intermediary then iMazing will do it quite well.
Perhaps you know that and want software that runs on the iPad. If so I can’t help.
Yah, thanks. You're right, I want to run the iPad Pro stand alone. My Mac is starting to have problems and I'm looking to replace it with the iPad Pro.
Do you realize you have posted your personal contact information on a public forum, which is not cool at all?
