Apple will (almost) never make such an announcement in advance. And, of course, we are not allowed to speculate here, as you know from the Terms and Conditions of using these Communities that you agreed to.

The latest version is 2B588, I just got off the phone with Apple Support on this very subject. Apple pulled the 2C54 Firmware update in early January, and the latest firmware returned to being 2B588.

Nobody knows.

Apple has not released any information about airpods firmware, how to update the firmware or what the current released version is.

So what is the latest version? I received my AirPod Pros today. They have version 2B588. I'm just trying to figure out if they are up to date
