Connect Disney+ to Apple TV app Up Next

For the life of me I can’t figure out how to connect the Disney+ app to the Apple TV app so that Disney+ content appears in the Apple TV apps Up Next section.

Ireland (where I am) only got the Disney+ app at the end of March at the same time as the UK. I can’t find the “Connect to TV” section in the TV app settings on the Apple TV that I have seen for this functionality—see image attached.

Is connecting third-party apps to the Apple TV app a US only feature?

Thanks so much for the reply. I hadn’t considered that there would be a support doc for this—it never showed up in all the permutations of my searches. I figured, as we have access to some Apple TV channels, that this might a support on the third-party app side, not the system level. I really hope Apple beef up Apple TV feature for us in iOS14. Thanks again.

I have the Disney+ app installed via the App Store and it’s working perfectly. But I’ve read a few articles that say that even though it doesn’t work as an Apple TV “Channel” it can connect to the TV apps Watch Now and Up Next sections. But I can’t figure out how to actually connect the app so the TV app can “see” it. Thanks for the reply by the way.

Other discussion threads reference a “Connect to TV” section in the TV app settings. It may be a location limitation (we don’t have Siri on the Apple TV yet either). Just curious if it is a limitation or some sort of setup issue.
