no sent mail folder in ipad 13.4 mail

The sent emails are not showing for the second account (not the default account) In my Mail on my iPad 13.4. There are also no arrows beside the original email indicating a return email was sent. The trash, junk and other folders are also missing for the second email account.

What I realised was that all my setting on my email accounts on my computer had changed once I linked with the new ipad. The setting were set to never delete Trash or Junk mail. Once I changed those settings the Mail I can delete emails.


I checked that all the email accounts on all the devices were IMAP - one on the new ipad had defaulted to POP. I deleted that account and added again as IMAP. That solved the sent mail issue.
