Apple TV keeps dropping wifi

My Apple TV keeps dropping the WiFi signal & forcing us to restart the app and our google wifi. We are close enough to the router that it shouldn’t be a problem but it keeps happening every couple hours and it’s really annoying. Anyone else experiencing this problem? We’ll be watching Netflix or something & then all of a sudden it just starts buffering & then says that it can no longer play the program & when we try to switch to another streaming service it just buffers nonstop & won’t load. Really frustrating!
