FaceTime stuck at connecting

Since 10 days I can’t call my parents’ iPad over FaceTime, neither can they call me: the call gets stuck at “connecting”. I am on the latest iOS 13.4, their iPad 2 is iOS 9.3.5.


If I call them on FaceTime using my old iPad 2 (iOS 9.3.5) then the call connects.


Any idea why and how I resolve this?

I understand you're not able to FaceTime your parents and are stuck on a screen that says connecting. I'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.


Make sure you update to iOS 13.4.1 and try these steps: If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
