iPhone calendar virus

Hello everyone. I seem to have stumbled upon something that I had never seen before. My calendar all of a sudden got filled with "events" which were aiming for me to download a VPN app, which I immediately presumed was a virus. Given that, I went online and searched the company, and in fact it turned out to be a virus. I followed the steps given in order for the pop ups not to appear. However, the so-called "events" keep coming up on my calendar. Could you please advice me as to what steps I can take to get rid of this virus, or whatever it may be, and do so that I do not get this issue again. Kindest, Stefani

Probably you have accepted an offer or subscribed for a spam Calendar accidentally. Watch the GIF below to know how to unsubscribe. Look for an unknown Calendar on the device under subscribed calendars.
