Restoring purchased apps

My iPad crashed during the latest upgrade and I was forced to restore (it started up just like brand new!) The restore was a long process and all my purchased apps (and a few freebies) did not restore.

HOW DO I GET BACK THE PURCHASED APPS without repurchasing them?

ipad, iPhone OS 3.1.3

Any apps you have purchased can be downloaded again without repurchasing it. You go to the app store and press as if to purchases again and it will see you have already bought it and download it for free.

yes, you don't have to rebuy them, as soon as you recommend the store account, just redownload them.

I went to re dowload a previously purchased app and it didn't come up with, you have already purchased this app would you like to download it for free. I am worried that I have paid for it. Please help!

You were signed into the same account that purchased it the first time, right? Have you checked your purchase history to confirm that you already purchased it. Just be sure it is exactly the same app. Some developers have a iPhone/Touch app and have a separate iPad app. If you bought the iPhone/Touch app you have to pay again to for the iPad app.
