Upgrade of iPad iOS 10.3.3

If your iPad will not update past 10 then you have an iPad (4th generation). This iPad model does not support any system version newer than 10. You cannot update your iPad any further. If you need to use an application that requires a newer system software version then you will need to purchase a newer iPad model.

If you have an iPad4, as is likely from the information provided, no, you’ll not be able to update to any later major version of iOS.

Update support for iPad4 formally ended September 2017. The final supported version of iOS for iPad4 is iOS 10.3.3 (for WiFi Only models) and iOS 10.3.4 (for WiFi & Cellular model). Your iPad cannot be updated further.

If Apps that you use require a higher version of iOS, you’ll have no alternative to replacing your iPad with a newer model.
