How to retrieve photos from iTunes backup
How could you retrieve photos from an Old backup for a device that you dont use anymore that was backedup by iTunes?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I understand you want to recover some photos. I know how important your photos are, and I'm happy to provide some information.
You can restore from backup done on a previous device. This will remove the current content on your device, and replace it with that backup. You cannot pick and choose content to restore from a backup, it is an all or nothing process.
If you only want the photos, you can do a backup of your device currently. Then, once you've restored the backup of the previous device to your current device you can use the resource below to save the photos. After you've saved your photos, you can restore once more to the most recent backup.
