Any issues of Screen-Smudge-Gate for the Macbook Pro 16 2019? || Macs Fan control causes ultra lag

Two weird issues/questions:

1) Just got my new MacBook Pro 16in for full stack development. Last macbook i had was the 2013 13in Macbook pro and boy, was the keyboard smudge ever hellishly permanent on the screen. Looking at how thin the screen is and how close it is to the new Magic keyboard which sticks out like the old keyboard, I'm scared this'll happen again. Any opinions or anyone who's unlucky enough to already face this on their 16in?

I'm considering screen protectors but ****, apple accessories be pricey ;/

2) I downloaded Macs Fan Control to try and tweak the fan curve, since I run full stack dev projects on this machine and given Apple's 'SILENT' fan curve, I didn't want to be seeing my Mac boost to 90++ C then turboing the fans like a lunatic every time I run an integration test lol. But somehow when I run Macs Fan Control, it causes the whole system to lag badly and just freeze in some instances, and the fans almost never ramp up as expected. Weird stuff, since my old MacBook Pro runs Macs Fan Control just fine
