The best thing to try first with this type of account, which is known as IMAP, is to remove it from your device and add it back again. That allows the settings to be filled in automatically. This explains how: Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Your @me.com address is nothing more than an alias to your @icloud.com inbox. So check your iCloud account settings, or go into your account (top of settings) and turn mail off, and back on to try and correct those settings.
