Is there any way to have my phone ring on my AirPods and on my phone at the same time.
I often take them out of my ears and set them beside me or in my pocket if I am walking around in the office and I miss calls or texts.
Help would greatly be appreciated

There is no "solution". They don't work the way you want them to. When your phone is connected to a BT headset, then notifications go through the headset.
As long as they are connected, that's where the notifications will go. Put the AirPods in the case before you leave your desk, maybe.
Yes I understand that. I am trying to be able to not have to put them in the case as I am typically wandering around the building and only want them in my ears when on a call.
If I do not grab the case before I go around the building, I do not know if my phone is receiving notifications.
I do not like being seen as rude when I am not on a call and have the AirPods in my ears, so I put them in my pocket.

Both of my cars have BT and the notifications still sound on my phone while it is connected.
it just does not make sense that being able to do something so simple would not be possible.
You need to put them back in the case.
