Downloading zoom disconnected my camera

After I downloaded zoom my camera got disconnected and will not work with any application. Has this happened to anyone else and does any one have any suggestions on how to fix it. I've already try to fix it in the terminal with the killall VDCAssistant and also tried to hold the shift control option for 30 seconds before turning back on. Nothing worked pls help
