Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

ISSUES WITH PASSCODE.

Previous owner isnt around and I bought this phone off them today. They removed their icloud and told me they erased everything but then when I got home its unlocked until I try to reset it. It asks for a passcode that i dont know and previous owner wont respond.

if you mean passcode then If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support


if you mean activation lock then Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support


if it's activation lock then it's a lock on apples servers more than a lock on the phone itself and it's a theft protection
