TLS 1.2 connections via Filezilla & Rapidweaver

OS 10.14.6

I have just updated to 10.14.6 before that I was on High Sierra.

I am trying to get to the bottom of why I can't connect (to publish my Rapidweaver website) the company I'm using has just upgraded their server to TLS 1.2 and ever since they have I can't connect to them either through Filezilla which is their go to testing app or through Rapidweavers publishing page.

Question is would there be any reason at all because I've upgraded to Mojave that would effect something like that?

I can however connect through Filezilla via FTP (but not SFTP) and still can't connect via FTP through RW.

As with all these things the hosting company says its working, the web software company says there isn't a problem BUT there clearly is a problem somewhere so I've taken it on board to try and start eliminating things to try and get to the bottom of this.
