873 area code showing as United States instead of Quebec

Anyone know why a phone call from 873 area code (Quebec) shows as originating from the United states? I'm assuming this is something that the iphone gets from some sort of database?

Incoming uknown caller received whilst in America I received “ uknown caller” incoming call whilst in America. just wondered if someone intentionally hid their caller ID or if it was a number not recognised. wonder if anyone else has had this?

ICloud breach calls I keep receiving calls from various numbers using the 806 area codes. They claim my ICloud account has been breached and individuals overseas are accessing my account. How would I be alerted if there is an actual security breach to my account? I changed the password on my iPhone for the account but the calls keep coming in using a different number but the area code 806, which is the same area code I originally started phone services in.

That does not come from an iPhone database, that would come from information from the Caller ID.
