DNS using all of my cellular data

I am on the Bell Mobility network in Canada. (iPhone 6S running iOS 13.4)

When I recently subscribed to a data plan, I notice that the DNS Services (in System Services) is using the majority of my data.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Can I prevent that?

Think of DNS as the Internet's phone book. Anytime you enter a URL in a web browser or attempt to access your email, a request is made to a DNS server to find the actual location of the web site or email server to establish communications. Stop or limit doing both of these activities will reduce the number of DNS requests.

Alternatively, you would need to enter the actual IP address of the web site or email server to avoid using DNS.

I don’t have the cellular auto updates enabled. I have enabled the minimum number of apps for cellular data. Mail, maps, Safari, Face Time, Find my phone, Starbucks.

For "Find My" did you also enable Share My Location?

Unfortunately, there is no simple way to capture the data traffic coming from your phone to help identify the culprits.
