Non-Apple Mouses

Why do non-apple mouses lag or skip? I cant game on my Macbook as the mouse constantly skips around. This is the most frustrating part of Macs. Never had this issue before 2018. WTH is going on? Apple?

There could be a number of reason why this is happening, especially if you are using a wireless mouse (Apple or a third-party brand).

Wireless mice connect either by Bluetooth or a propriety wireless format, like that used by some Logitech mice.

Regardless, "skipping/jumping/etc." mouse cursors are typically caused by a poor wireless connection between the mouse and the computer due to wireless interference. This interference can be caused by either physical obstructions or other wireless signals in the nearby vicinity. Did you already verify that these are not the cause?
