Saving annotations on a PDF

I am using a Macbook Pro OSCatalina version 10.15.4 (19E287). I cannot save annotation made to PDFs, rename the file or duplicate it

Preview autosaves annotations to the original PDF as you add them — unless that PDF is read-only, is incompatible with Preview, is on a NTFS drive, or a drive mounted as read-only. If you are attempting to annotate a PDF from another cloud service other than iCloud Drive then you may encounter other writing issues.

Thanks Leroy

I will give them a try, but I've always used Preview without a problem before the Catalina update. Somehow it came right, but now it does this again with the new update

Use a true PDF editor:

Adobe Arcobat Reader

PDFpen

pdf Expert

to name a few.
