My phone number doesn’t exist on imessage send & receive

I bought an new iphone and made my new apple id. Im forgot to add my phone number. When i open imessage setting, i realize that people only can reach me with imessage by email. Then I open my apple id to add my phone number. But still my phone number doesn’t exist on imessage send & receive. Any solution? Big Thx to apple community
