Apple TV app not showing Library

iPad Pro 11" - iPadOS 13.4.1

Apple TV app shows no contents on the Library, only downloaded movies if there are any. I can see my family contents (my wife's and son's library just fine). I think I have never been able to see my library in my iPad, neither in my previous iPad Pro 10.5".

Music Library shows and works fine. iTunes App shows all purchased contents.

On my iPhone and Mac, however, I can see my entire library on the Apple TV app.

Home sharing is enabled everywhere and I use the same account in all devices.

Any tip would be appreciated.

I am having the same issue. My library appears on my iphone but not on iPad. All software up to date. I have a bunch of home movies on there that I want to access.

Verify it the software is up to date.
Try force-quitting the Apple TV app, then try again.
Try turning your device really off. Then start it up again.
Try deleting the Apple TV app, then re-install it from the App Store.

I fixed the problem. The id for the home sharing library is different from the default iCloud Id. The iphone defaults to the iTunes Id which is correct for my home library. The iPad defaults to iCloud Id which does not see a home library. There is a setting for the Id in settings, change it and all is good.

Still happening after several days. Any hints other than signing out and back in of the Apple ID (done, not successful, wouldn't like to do it again)?

Signing out and in again multiple times of the Apple ID on the Apple TV app (top right) and Home Sharing on the Apple TV app Settings, and letting the screen blank with the spinning ball did the trick.

Could this be due to having also the iTunes Store app? Let me know if you need more details or screenshots.

I'm genuinely surprised this has not happened to anyone else.

What you describe is not the same issue. You can’t sync between iPhone and iPad directly. You should sync through a computer (copy from a computer), or use Home Sharing to access content on a networked computer directly.
