Disk Utility says my Raid 1 missing/damaged but Terminal diskutil shows it online after rebuild

Disk Utility shows one of my Raid 1 drives as missing but Terminal diskutil shows it online after rebuild in Catalina. My Raid mounts and I have access to it via finder and the Lacie Raid Monitor show them as OK.

I had one of the drives out as I was copying file from another drive because I didn't have another enclosure to use. I know that isn't best practice for how Raid 1 is supposed to be used. After I returned, the drive that was out, I watched it rebuild automatically in Terminal diskutil. After it finished, the status switched to "online" and the Lacie monitor changed from "failed" --> "ok".

Is my Raid 1 working properly at this point and if so is there a way to get the Disk Utility app to show it correctly? I tried clicking repair and selecting disk3 to add but it fails and says that it's already part of a Raid set after allowing me to choose it. I could delete the missing drive and re-add but I'm worried that will erase one of the drives and force it to rebuild 1.58 TB of data which may take a while. What is my best course of action?

Hello izorny,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. From your post and screenshots, it sounds like a specific RAID set is not appearing in Disk Utility, but works otherwise. I'll do what I can to help get it appearing there again.

You've done a lot of great steps already. Here are some more that might help:

Take care.
