Magic Trackpad 2 losing Bluetooth - troubleshooting?
Over the past few weeks, my Magic Trackpad 2 has been repeatedly losing its Bluetooth connection to my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports, MacOS 10.15.3). It happens two or three times a day, not correlated to any particular activity that I can see. The trackpad stops responding, the laptop displays a disconnection notice. Sometimes it reconnects and disconnects a few times, and eventually starts working again, until the next time.
Nothing is changed in my overall setup since the time before this problem appeared. I use a Bluetooth Magic Keyboard that is not having any Bluetooth problem.
I would like some way of knowing whether the problem is in the trackpad, the MacBook Pro, or what. But I am at a loss. Any suggestions?
