Vertical Lines on MacBook Pro Screen

Hello,

I recently opened my computer to find large pink lines completely obscuring the screen when opened past a certain angle. This seems to be a known defect in MacBook Pros 2016-2018; has anyone had a similar experience with successful resolution? No one had touched the computer, there was no reason for this to happen, so I don't know what could have caused it.

Attached is a video of a similar issue for reference; thanks!

Hi,

It's a infamous Flexgate trouble, you need to replace flex cable which connects between LCD and logic board or whole LCD comportment at Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Try to contact Apple support or AASP.
