I just received an email threatening me that someone has remote access of my iphone and they have recorded my video through accessing my camera and asking me to pay load of money otherwise they will send my video watching some dirty stuff online to all my contacts.
i am really worried. Please tell me if some can have access to contacts in my iphone and camera?

That stupid scam email has been going around for months (let me guess, they're demanding a ransom in BitCoin). That, and there is no possible way to remotely hack an iOS device.
Delete the email and ignore.
What makes these scams seem more real is they're using the billions of user information stolen from the many data breaches you've read about. That usually gives them an email address and a password associated with it, but not the web site it's for (or they'd go into that account immediately).
If the password happens to be correct for a site you're still using, change that one right away as a precaution.
Well! It was just one time visit and i have no intentions to visit that website again. Since he cannot hack into my iphone, so all worries go away. As a precaution, i have changed my apple id password and deleted the browser on which i opened that web page. I hope that is sufficient.
Yeah man exactly. They asked me to pay via bitcoin. I know that sounds stupid but they mentioned my email address and correct password that i used while signing in to some crap website I guess. So i got really scared as if my camera was used to film me. Thanks alot your reply helped me spend my night without any worries.
