Fast Forward Apple TV

I read how to fast forward (FF) on Apple TV. I have the latest version of Apple TV, but I noticed that I am unable to FF during the commercials. I did notice that FF during the regular programs works as suggested. But when I tried to FF during a commercial, of course it didn't work. We really need to see those commercials you know.

Are there any shortcuts that I don't know about? Of course, most programs/networks won't let you FF during commercials. Those are the money makers. HELP!!

Take it for what it is:

No. You cannot FF through a commercial - it is to advert your attention. Just put it on mute. That’s just the way it is :(

On the Other hand:

PBS is a nonprofit organization. So, if you don’t want commercials getting in the way during a live broadcast, watch that channel. There are no commercials until after the broadcast is over, which is due to it being non-profit.

Apple’s own content doesn’t have commercials.

Third party content providers may have commercials in their (on demand) programming, or offer a different (higher priced) tier with no commercials or less commercials (e.g. Hulu). Please specify which channel you were using when trying to skip commercials. Each will have their own policy on advertisements.
