Can't send a group text if one phone is android. If all phones are iphone's it works. Can't send picture to android. The phone i have is an iphone7 and worked fine with Sprint, but when I switched to Spectrum the trouble began. The coverage is much better with Spectrum, but the texting I can't seem to fix. Anybody have the same problem or a fix? Spectrum troubleshooting hasn't helped. Somebody mentioned APN settings???

Contact Spectrum. They will have to work it out, if they can.
They are not listed as a supported iPhone carrier.
SMS doesn't have anything to do with it.

Thanks for the replies. Spectrum has, via phone support, had me try everything. So far no dice. Someone mentioned changing APN settings to Verizon, however I don't know anything about that. My phone doesn't show an option to change it nor I don't know what to change it to. If Spectrum doesn't support the messaging, I may have to switch to Verizon for a lot more money for the same coverage! I'm sure there has to be a fix but I'm jumping through hoops to try and find one!
It's issues like this that as a Spectrum customer I won't use them for cellular service, even though I could save money. They also DO NOT support Apple Watch, which is another major deficiency.
I thought about SMS different, apparently was not worth the shot.🙄☺️
Spectrum Mobile are called MVNO, or mobile virtual network operator, and they are using Verizon’s network. Your issues with MMS might be on Verizon’s end, don’t really know. Also, Settings > Messages > Send as SMS > ON?
