Unable to block a number on all my devices

If I block a number from my iMessage on my iPad, will that block sync to all my other devices (iPhones, iMac, Mac Pro) sharing the same ID even though they may not have the same software update? For some reason I blocked a number on my iPad and it didn’t sync to my iPhone.

Sorry :-// ... Would you mind explaining “dummy style” what you mean by multiple numbers?”. See, there are 2 iPhones and 1 iPad plus my iMac and laptop. All from apple with same Apple ID. I was able to block a number from my iPad or iPhone and it will sync to all the devices without a problem up until this last update we did to the phones. The iPad and computers haven’t been updated yet. So I thought it had something to do with the update. That question brought me here. Thanks for replying by the way :-).

Thanks for the note. I thought about a different Apple ID as well. However, the work one is temporary due to the current “COVID-19 - work from home situation”. From before I simply had a folder under contacts with my work contacts. For me was easier that way. However, I may have to re-think this through. Anyways, let me give a try to your earlier suggestion and see if that does the trick (Fingers crossed). Thanks both for replying.
