Hi
I will put some links here to some you tube content.
Leno FX recently posted a good beginners guide. Leno is a well established creator in the Motion 5 and FCPX community, so you can trust the content is credible.

AV Ultra. This is the channel of Stanislaw Robert Luberda. He has some content that covers the basics of working with Motion 5. If you are looking for a free introduction to Motion 5, this is the best content I know of.

Simon Ubsdell: This channel has advanced tutorials, but they are very informative and useful for any level. You can be a beginner with Motion and still learn a lot.

Rowie409: This content is mostly about making titles and logos, and also looks at how to make graphics work as templates for FCPX.

If you are looking for free/youtube based content, these channels might help get you started.
However, I'd recommend the paid courses from Ripple Training. They are worth the investment.
