What is the best way of fixing Error 113 on Chrome?

I am unable to view webpages. On chrome i get 'Err 113 (net::ERR_SLL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH)

Safari just tells me page cannot be displayed.

I have tried;

Deleting expired certifictes

resetting my defult keychain

Changed OCSP ( Online certificate status protocol) and CRL ( Certificate revocation list) to 'best attempt' and left the prirority as OCSP.

Adding thre browser to the list on the advanced section on the firewall in system preferences.

Having the firewall either off or on.

Had different variations of the boxes ticked for managing certificates from chrome preferences

I'm not sure if its worth looking at the proxy settings but im unsure what to do with proxies.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply. I went into the chrome support link and the reason for the message was due to the browsers security code being out of date. I am looking to find out how I can update this, unless it means something else and the problem can be solved in my settings. This was the message from chrome;

'You'll see this error if you try to go to a website with an outdated security code. Chrome protects your privacy by not letting you connect to these sites.

If you own this website, try to set your server to use TLS 1.2 and TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256, instead of RC4. RC4 is no longer considered secure. If you can't turn off RC4, make sure that other non-RC4 ciphers are turned on.'

Sadly it doesnt tell you what to do if you dont own the site and its happening on most of the sites I visit lol.
