iPad screen scrolls without touching and clicks links by itself

After I updated to latest OS, my iPad scrolls automatically while reading. It also clicks links on its own. After reading net articles, I updated the OS one more time but it also has the same problem. I cleaned the screen, restarted but the problem doesn’t go away. The iPad was working correctly till a month ago. The update ruined it.

please help.

no. The screen wasn’t replaced. Although the problem now appears to have gone away because I cleaned the screen and also removed it from the iPad case. There was a loose piece of rubber dangling on the screen as the case is getting overused. I removed the rubber. So far things look good.
