How can I locate my Apple Recovery Key Notification in order to reinstate my associated Apple ID?

I never saved my Apple ID Recovery Key. Since Apple sends out notifications to save the Recovery Key, it must be captured as a email, or test message associated with a trusted device, or phone number.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation?
