I received an email that my phone camera has been hacked. Is there a way i can check if this is right or not

No. If you ignored the message you don’t have to do anything else. If you tapped a link in the message and entered any personal data such as your Apple ID and password change your password IMMEDIATELY.
It's a scam, delete it. No one can hacked an iPhone remotely.
All such messages are scams. Simply delete the email and move on with your day.
