Apple Music Search Feature

Hello, I am a professional musician that has always used iTunes as a very convenient way of storing and retrieving musical ideas .

Since I downloaded Catalina yesterday and see that iTunes is now Apple Music, my way of cataloguing and searching for in my music no longer works.

I tag each song with metadata in the Description column for easy finding, but I now notice that the Search feature only searches for titles and nothing else.

Also, when I click on an item in a search, instead of playing that track, it takes me to the album that it's on and I have to search it again.

Finally, I prefer to view everything in the "song" browser, which the small, database-like columns, which I can't seem to do with the search.

Does anyone know any ways around this? I'm going a bit mad!

Thanks in advance.

Try the following keys:

++F (Option + Command + F)

A search bar will appear on the top right.

This feature is not in the menu !?!
