My I pad is locked
I’ve been on hold for 30 mins been trying to get someone to help me with my activation locked I pad it still shows an email address. I no longer have access too.

Sorry to hear, only the password to the Apple ID is needed if it's your Apple ID.
Do you have the original Apple receipt to prove your ownership?

Activation Lock is a theft deterrent feature with no bypass or workaround.
Without the owner's authorisation, no thief or anyone including you can re-use the device.

Habe you checked to see if you can access your AppleID account using the original email address and associated password? If your credentials are good, you can update your AppleID account with a new primary email address - and while you are there, ensure that you have configured additional secondary/recovery email addresses and trusted telephone numbers - all of which can be used to recover your AppleID should the need ever arise.
Provided that you have already set-up your AppleID account correctly, with recovery email addresses or trusted telephone numbers (either fixed line and/or cellular/mobile), if you have forgotten your AppleID password, this can also be recovered here:
